Tour Not to Be "Mist"!

Well .................if you missed the Halloween Tour a week or so ago in the town of Modesto presented by the McHenry Museum......it was mist.........and now....gone, but not forgotten. Our group visited five Halloween decorated homes and Bobbie Lasky's wonderful retrospect of Halloween art at the McHenry Museum., (check to see if it is still available for viewing) ..........titled Devil Woman's Delight. So many artist friends were represented in her display........Jack Roads, Allen Cunningham, Nicole Sayre, Scott Smith, William Bezek, Matthew Kirscht, David Bruce, to name a few......and a few of my things too! It was wonderful to see a grouping of their works from past years. Following are just a few pictures of the antique and newly minted Halloween art that were displayed on the tour in the homes.

Rare crepe paper......

More crepe paper........
The way I like bats flat, matted and on a stand.............

Candy Curio............

That's the way to sleep with a creep.........
Again imagine saving this crepe paper.........
Santa eat your heart out with your sleigh.....and if you think reindeer can't take directions...how about cats.........

Great idea for the winery........should do it to all the barrels so it can be Halloween every season!
Bobbie in the flesh with her entourage...............
Just as on this bench..... I can't shoes which house display I liked the best........so they are all my favorites.
